PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL April 16, 2001 — PGATOUR.COM has partnered with iBEAM Broadcasting® Corporation (NASDAQ: IBEM) and F2 Broadcast Network Inc. (OTCBB:FBNI) for the production and streaming of TOUR Monday Online. This innovative weekly online show gives golf fans the chance to get connected to the game. iBEAM facilitates production, streaming and design through its Activecast™ technology, enabling fans to get integrated in to this interactive show. F 2 Broadcast provides capture, editing and digitization of content elements including Champion’s Conversation and Champion Highlights Reel, bringing the previous week’s tournaments into play on the show. Airing each Monday at 11:30 a.m. ET, the show invites viewers to take an active part in shaping its content through instant message and e-mail. Real-time questions and viewer opinions will be received and responded to by co-hosts Brian Katrek and 18-year PGA TOUR veteran Greg Powers.
Viewers also will have the opportunity to vote in polls and see the results, as well as access content that feature the previous week’s champion and set the stage for the upcoming tournament.
“This show is both for and by the viewers. They tell us which direction they want to go each week,” said Len Watson, Vice President of PGATOUR.COM. “We get their thoughts on what’s been happening on the PGA TOUR, SENIOR PGA TOUR and BUY.COM TOUR. It’s their show.”
“We are very proud to provide unprecedented coverage for the PGATOUR with the new MONDAY ONLINE SHOW,” said Peter Desnoes, chairman, president and CEO of iBEAM Broadcasting. “This is a new way for fans of PGATOUR.COM to access highlights, pose questions, take part in on-line polls and hear the weekend’s previous champion discuss the victory run for each TOUR event.”
“iBEAM and F 2 Broadcast bring digitizing, streaming and distribution capabilities PGATOUR.COM needs to give the fans a complete interactive experience,” said Donna Orender, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President of Television, Productions and New Media.
