Participation Requirement
To qualify for the free MaxCaster™ service program, Access Providers must have a subscription base of either:

• 10,000 narrowband (less than 144 Kbps) subscribers, or
• 1,000 broadband (144 Kbps or greater) subscribers

Program Details
The program begins shortly after the Access Provider signs a contract for service with iBEAM Broadcasting® Corporation. The agreement allows the ISP free use of our MaxCaster services for the term of the agreement. iBEAM reserves the right to redefine the hardware comprising the MaxCaster media serving system.

iBEAM installs, maintains, and retains ownership of the hardware covered by the program. The MaxCaster system may not be used for any purposes other than those offered and delivered by iBEAM.

Technical Installation Requirements
We minimize any intrusion into your day-to-day operations. However, ISP partners do need to provide us with the following:

• Usable 19" rack space (minimum 7 rack units)
• Access to this rack, preferably on a 24 x 7 basis
• Dedicated connection to your network
• Power for installed components
• One analog line for connecting the modem
• Six IP addresses for the MaxCaster
• IP Source Address Blocks of the POP location

We also require the following of our ISP partners for the installation of the satellite dish:

• Acquire roof rights for the dish
• Grant physical access to satellite installers
• Provide power to the dish
• Provide ducts or other transit space for the cable connecting the satellite to the MaxCaster
